Author Archives: I love this time of year – I get to hang out with such awesome families… and it’s even better when I get to bring MY family to hang with the family I’m shooting! I have to say that I adore this family – first of all, they are just unbelievably beautiful (have you seen…  The Holidays season is just around the corner which means that Holiday portrait season is in full swing! I’ve recently gotten a few inquiries from clients looking to do “mini-sessions” this year…. and while I don’t usually do them during the Holidays, it feels like a great time to try them out! The mini-sessions are…  You always know you have a great shoot when the photographer is constantly laughing along with her clients… and that was definitely the case when I shot Alex and Jake! Not only are these kids crazy-funny, but they have the whole “boy-vibe-thing” going. You know, that whole burping, farting, wrestling, trying-to-be-as-gross-as-possible, thing that all boys…  I’ve blogged before about how much I love landscape photography. It’s a passion of mine, yet something I don’t get out nearly enough to do. I have an immense respect for those photographers who do landscapes well… who utilize their equipment to get the shot in-camera without a ton of post-processing. And no one does…  It’s that time of year again! Time to start planning for your family portraits, holiday cards and personalized photo gifts!
