The Romeros

I wasn’t allowed to post this shoot until after Christmas, since Julie and Lu wanted to keep their pictures a surprise for their parents…. well, I should say OUR parents since Julie is my sister-in-law! And their adorable kids, Christian and Mya are my awesome nephew and niece.

We took the shots at the beach in Malibu and the Will Rogers State Park. For whatever reason, there were a ton of people around, but we were able to get some great shots. Mya is really shy in front of the camera normally, but she didn’t have any problems since her Auntie Jen was the photographer! And Christian was just happy to be at the beach!

This was a very special shoot for me…. taking pictures of people that I love makes taking pictures even more meaningful and fun.
